Sara's career in the beauty industry began in 2013 when she started working at the front desk of Tracy's salon in Wise, VA. During her time at Tracy's,  she completed a Cosmetology apprenticeship and became Salon Manager. 

In 2015 she began freelancing part time in addition to working retail in Macy's cosmetic department, working at counters such as Estee Lauder, Lancome, bareMinerals, and more.

In 2016 Sara began a position as an Ulta prestige beauty advisor, which included color matching, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations. After 10 months in this position Sara was promoted to M.A.C Specialty Artist at Ulta Beauty, providing makeup applications and makeup lessons.

In February of 2018 Sara, took her passion for makeup artistry and her love for people and created her own company MakeupbySAC, LLC.

Sara is currently working out of Newport News, VA and is   on-location only.
