Professional Background
A Career Built on Craft
Tracy's Salon — Wise, VA
Started at the front desk, completed a Cosmetology apprenticeship, and worked up to Salon Manager. This is where I fell in love with the craft and learned what it truly means to make a client feel cared for.
Macy's Cosmetics — Freelance
Began freelancing part time while working the cosmetics floor at Macy's, gaining hands-on counter experience with Estée Lauder, Lancôme, and bareMinerals.
Ulta Beauty — Prestige Beauty Advisor
Joined Ulta as a prestige beauty advisor specializing in color matching and product demonstrations. Within 10 months I was promoted to M.A.C Specialty Artist, providing professional makeup applications and one-on-one lessons.
MakeupbySAC, LLC — Founded
In February 2018 I took everything I'd built and launched MakeupbySAC, LLC. My specialty is natural makeup and flawless foundation matching — because the best makeup looks like the most beautiful version of you.
A Little About Me
Beyond the Brush
When I'm not glamming my clients, I'm a homebody at heart who loves spending time with my family and soaking up every moment with the people I love most. I'm from the mountains of North Carolina in a beautiful little town called Cashiers. I moved to Virginia in 2010 and eventually to VA Beach after meeting the love of my life on Tinder in 2022. I have 4 beautiful children ranging from 15 years old to 1 years old. They are my entire world and I absolutely love being their mom. I am married to the most incredible man in the world, Joshua Banks. Together we have started two businesses, Flexyourfitfam which is our family fitness business, as well as Virginia’s first reality dating show MatchmakerVA. Our favorite thing to do is travel as a family and go on adventures. I love Jesus, Cotton Candy Alani Nu, Coffee shops, Fashion, Testing different foundations, Photography and Glamming my beautiful clients.I believe beauty should feel effortless and fun, never stressful. My clients aren't just appointments on a calendar; they're people I genuinely care about, and I want every single one of them to walk away feeling like the best version of themselves.
